I was born in Ayr but now live in Manchester. A variety of education, jobs, relationships and children finally resulted in me writing my first novel, If I Don’t Laugh.

If I Don’t Laugh – Emma’s memory may have gone but a lifetime of decisions still stand.

Who can she trust when it transpires that one of those decisions made someone try to kill her?

Dazed and confused in a hospital bed, nobody comes to visit. A fellow patient helps Emma reconnect with her husband, Pete, who explains how her life used to be. She doesn’t like the sound of it much.

How will she handle the consequences of her decisions when her memory comes back with a bang?

A story of family, friends and questioning every decision you ever made.
